Adult Therapy

Therapy

Adult therapy provides a supportive, confidential space to better understand yourself, navigate challenges, and build tools for meaningful change. Treatment is individualized, evidence-based, and grounded in compassion, clarity, and collaboration.

Who I Work With

Adult therapy may be helpful if you are:

  • Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally stuck
  • Navigating relationship, family, or work stress
  • Struggling with emotional regulation or past experiences
  • Experiencing identity shifts, life transitions, or loss
  • Seeking greater clarity, balance, or self-understanding

Emotional Regulation & Stress

Stress Management therapy helps individuals manage stress more effectively, reduce its impact on health and daily functioning, and restore balance.

DBT (Dialetical Behavioral Therapy) helps individuals develop skills to regulate emotions, tolerate distress, improve relationships, and manage intense emotional experiences. This evidence-based approach supports greater emotional balance, resilience, and effective coping in daily life.

Biofeedback uses real-time physiological feedback to help individuals learn to regulate bodily responses associated with stress, anxiety, chronic pain, and emotional dysregulation. This evidence-based approach supports improved self-awareness and mind-body regulation.

Identity, Body, & Self

Body image and self-relationship therapy supports individuals in developing a healthier, more compassionate relationship with their bodies and sense of self. Therapy may address body dissatisfaction, identity shifts, shame, perfectionism, and the emotional impact of life transitions, medical changes, or aging.

Identity-focused therapy & life transitions supports individuals navigating questions of self, purpose, and direction during periods of transition or change. Therapy may explore identity development, role shifts, cultural or relational identity, career transitions, aging, and major life decisions, supporting greater clarity and integration.

Relationships & Family

Couples therapy helps enhance communication, strengthen your bond, and navigate challenges in your relationship using evidence-based couples therapy approaches. Methods include Imago Therapy, the Gottman Method, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).

Family therapy supports families through fertility challenges, blended family dynamics, separation or divorce, aging parents, memory care, and chronic or medical illness. Therapy focuses on improving communication, strengthening relationships, and supporting families through change with compassion and clarity.

Trauma & Recovery

Trauma therapy supports individuals in processing traumatic experiences, restoring a sense of safety, and reducing the emotional and physical effects of trauma. Using trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches, therapy helps clients build resilience, regulate emotions, and reconnect with themselves and others.
